This study aims to develop an IoT-based UVB LED phototherapy device to address the safety and efficacy issues of traditional phototherapy devices used in vitiligo treatment[13]. The system applies UVB-level photons using an electronically controlled platform with integrated IoT capabilities. It incorporates microcontroller-driven UVB LED modules, a programmable timer, and safety sensors to ensure that the treatment process is precisely regulated, thereby enhancing patient safety and control. By providing precesily regulated narrowband UVB phototherapy at 311 nm wavelength device aims to mitigate advreser effects of vitiligo treatment [8], [9]. The developed device aims to minimize unwanted side effects while maximizing user safety by delivering controlled irradiation at this wavelength. The device is equipped with an automatic shut-off mechanism, a microcontroller-based timing system, and an advanced cooling unit. This project aims to provide a practical, safe, and cost- effective alternative for vitiligo treatment.
