Background This study examined the impact of core stabilization, thoracic mobility, and hip mobility exercises on trunk stabilization and postural control in office workers experiencing postural disorders. Methods A total of forty-four office workers aged 25 to 45 participated in this randomized controlled study. Participants were divided into two groups: the study group and the control group. The study group engaged in core stabilization, thoracic mobility, and hip mobility exercises, in addition to a home exercise program, for 6 weeks, meeting twice a week for 60 min per session. In contrast, the control group followed only the home exercise program. Trunk stabilization was assessed pre- and post-treatment using the Plank test and Sorenson test, while balance was evaluated with the Y balance test. Results The study and control groups were similar in terms of sociodemographic characteristics (p > 0.05). There was a statistically significant difference between the two groups in the Sorenson test and Plank test values (p ≤ 0.001). The post-test values of the Y balance test categories of anterior right, left; posteromedial right, left; posterolateral right, left were all statistically significantly higher in the study group (p ≤ 0.01). Conclusion Core stabilization, hip, and thoracic mobility exercises are effective for improving trunk stabilization and posture. We recommend incorporating these exercises into physiotherapy programs to enhance stabilization and balance among office workers.
