Dr. Esma Nur Zeydanlı, Assistant Professor, graduated as the highest-ranking student from the Department of Biology at Gazi University in 2006. She continued her postgraduate education in the Department of Biophysics, Faculty of Medicine, Ankara University, where her master’s studies were supported by TÜBITAK (BIDEP 2228A). In 2009, she was appointed as a Research Assistant (Article 33a) in the same department and continued her doctoral studies. After completing her PhD in 2015, she pursued her academic career as a faculty member at Sivas Cumhuriyet University.

She conducted research using in vivo and in vitro experimental models of diabetes/insulin resistance and investigated the electrophysiological and molecular mechanisms underlying diabetic cardiomyopathy/cardiac insulin resistance. Her current research focus is on elucidating the electrophysiological and molecular processes of neuronal dysfunctions.
